The Abstract Submission is closed.

Word limit for abstracts is 300 words. APA format, including in-text citations, is required for all abstracts (no need for list of references). All abstracts underwent a blind-review evaluation process. The abstracts volume will be published electronically and will be part of the congress package for all participants.


Poster presentation (Poster printing and on-site delivery service available)
Individuals or groups of authors can present their scientific work in the form of a poster. No thematic restriction applies within the area of scientific sport and exercise psychology. The poster will be allocated to one of the six poster sessions of 90 minutes. The presenting author is expected to be present during the whole duration of the poster session and gets the opportunity to meet and discuss with individuals interested in the area of study.

Poster abstract have a maximum length of 300 words and should at least include: a short introduction, a problem statement, theoretical framework, brief description of methodology, results summary, and implications of the results. Scientific jargon must be kept to a minimum to ensure easiness of understanding from all participants.

The poster format will be A0 (118.9 cm / 46.8” height x 84.1 cm / 31.1” width). A well-designed poster attracts the eye and attention and gives the scientific work the recognition it deserves. Recommendations for the design will be made available on the Congress website.


Thematic symposia
Symposia are 90 minutes long and must be focused on one specific and relevant topic. To foster meaningful exchanges and international collaborations, symposia must include at least four (4) and at most five (5) presenters working (or studying) in at least three (3) different countries and institutions. It is possible to include a discussant.

Submissions must be completed by the chair/convener of the symposium. Submissions must include a general abstract (description and significance of the topic, purpose of the symposium, and an overview of each presentation – Max. 300 words). Additionally, submissions must include an individual abstract for each presentation, with a short introduction, a problem statement, theoretical framework, brief description of methodology, results summary, and implications of the results.

All listed presenters have to be present during their symposium. Symposia chairs are expected to take charge of time management during the symposia and to allow sufficient time for questions and discussion with the audience.


Workshop
Workshops are 90 minutes and can be research or applied focused. Workshops are expected to involve active participation through interactive discussions, demonstrations, and/or experiential learning. There is no minimum requirement for the number of presenter(s). Abstracts have a maximum length of 300 words and must include an overview of the topic, specific learning objectives, target group(s), teaching methods and techniques, and a description of the materials that will be shared with and/or used by the participants.
