Social Programme

The Congress fee includes participation in the social programme (Opening Ceremony and Welcome Reception, Congress Excursion, Closing Ceremony and Gala Dinner) during the Congress. Pre-registration is required to ensure admission. Accompanying persons have full access to the social programme.

	Opening Ceremony and Welcome Reception The congress programme includes a Welcome Reception following the Opening Ceremony on Tuesday, 14 July 2015, at 18.00 hrs. The venue is the Stade de Suisse, the new football stadion replacing the famous Wankdorf Stadion, where the football world cup final in 1954 was won by Germany.

	How to get there: Take tram no. 9 direction Wankdorf, the stop “Wankdorf Center“ is just in front of the stadium’s entrance. The tram ride from Bern main train station takes 10 minutes.

Congress Excursion
A congress excursion on Friday, 17 July 2015, will offer participants an insight into typical Swiss culture and the picturesque city of Bern.
The tours start at 15:45 hrs at the Congress venue and will last approximately 2 hours. Meeting points for each excursion are along the windows, in front of Fabrikstrasse 8 building at 15:30 hrs, after symposia & workshop session 7.

				Closing Ceremony and Gala Dinner On Saturday, 18 July 2015, the Closing Ceremony will be in one of Bern's most exciting venues, the Kursaal, the location of the official Congress Hotel Allegro. An exquisite gala dinner in the Arena followed by a dessert buffet and disco in the Foyer, with exciting view over the city and the Alps, will contribute to remember the congress not only from a scientific, but also from a social perspective.
				How to get there: One stop from “Kornhaus“ by tram no. 9 or bus no. 10 to “Kursaal“, or from the main train station just walk 10 minutes over the Kornhausbrücke (bridge).
