Day 1 Ascent to the Mischabelhütte. We shorten the ascent with the Hanig cable car. This is an alpine route that is secured with wire ropes and iron pins. Surefootedness is a prerequisite. Day 2 Ascent to the Ulrichhorn and descent via the Riedgletscher to the Bordierhütte. Day 3 Morning hike to the Klein Bigerhorn. Followed by a long descent to Gasenried. Arrival and timetable: Bern from: 9:07 am Meeting point in Saas Fee bus terminal at 11.04 am. Then take the cable car to Hanig. Travelling expenses are the responsibility of the participants. |
Prerequisites for attendance |
The participants have already attended the alpine touring course. First experience with crampons and on steep firn. Very good physical condition for all-day mountain tours with large differences in altitude. Sure-footedness and a head for heights. |
