Prerequisites for attendance

Excellent physical condition for all-day tours is a requirement.

We travel in independent rope teams under the guidance of the mountain guide. You need to have experience of at least three L1-alpine courses. Ascent speed min. 300 m/h. Efficiency on the rock and in rope handling. Good coordination for a smooth descent in pathless terrain. Surefootedness, no fear of heights and enjoyment of climbing, ridge tours and glacier tours.

Equipment

The material is the responsibility of the participants.

IMPORTANT: BRING ONLY THE SPECIFIED EQUIPMENT. NO ADDITIONAL NEEDED! WE CARRY EVERYTHING.

Backpack with a volume of 25-30l, snacks for 2 days (breakfast and dinner in the hut), drinking bottle approx. 1 liter, sunglasses (at least protection factor 3), sunscreen, lipstick, sun hat, earplugs, headlamp, silk sleeping bag, toothbrush, blister plaster, small first-aid kit with personal medication, gloves (thin and thick), hat, windproof, rainproof and breathable clothing (leggings rather unsuitable), sports underwear, warm pullover.

Climbing harness, 3 screw-lock carabiners, 2 quickdraws, 1 ice screw, 1 long webbing or stand sling, short Prusik sling, hiking boots and adapted crampons with anti-boot, ice ax, possibly gaiters. If available, SAC ID.
