Prerequisites for attendance | Ideal for beginners. Enjoyment of mountain hiking, surefootedness also in pathless terrain, very good physical condition for full-day education on the glacier and application tour (approx. 8 hrs.). |

Equipment | The material is the responsibility of the participants. Backpack with a packing volume of 30-35l, snacks for 3 days, water bottle, sunglasses (at least protection factor 3), sunscreen, lipstick, sun hat, earplugs, headlamp, silk sleeping bag, toothbrush, blister plaster, small first-aid kit with personal medicines. SAC ID card, gloves, hat, windproof breathable clothing, rainwear, sports underwear, warm pullover, climbing harness, 2 webbing slings 120cm, at least 3 screw carabiners, 2 express slings, Prusik sling, abseil brake, rope 4m long and 5-6mm in diameter, Microtraxion (automatic return stop/climbing clamp) if available, single rope (40-50m long) if available, mountain boots and adapted crampons with anti-slip, possibly gaiters, ice axe and helmet.
