Content/program

The SUC Fitness Challenge takes place as part of the SUG.

This is a three-day event with eight Swiss university championships in various sports. Around 800 participants will be expected. Tenero is the perfect location for an unforgettable "Saturday evening", holiday mood with Overnight stay in a tent, various sports facilities and much more. In the three-day competition, the athletes compete in the areas of endurance, strength and coordination various exams and assignments. 

  • Day 1 | Endurance: The endurance of all athletes is tested on the ergometer, the spinning bike and on various running routes.
  • Day 2 | Coordination: Various tasks with, on and on obstacles and devices test the dexterity, balance and stability of all athletes.
  • Day 3 | Strength: With their own body weight and additional weights, the athletes are challenged in various tests.

Each athlete starts individually in the individual runs and passages. Time is measured or repetitions are counted to create a ranking.

Prerequisites for attendance

You are enrolled at a recognized Swiss university or, as a Swiss citizen, at a corresponding foreign university or have completed or interrupted your studies for a maximum of 1 year.

There are two categories:

  • Elite: Aspirations for the title "Fittest Student-Athlete" with experience in "Functional Training" and "CrossFit"
  • Open: open to all fitness enthusiasts who want to compete in a competition without having previous experience.
