Outdoor Climbing Climbing camp N4

The costs for travel, accommodation and meals must be paid locally.

Successfully completed indoor basic course, attendance of an outdoor climbing day and multi-pitch course. Initial experience in independent rock climbing. The climbing camp takes place in an alpine environment, so sure-footedness and a head for heights are very important.

Everyone must bring their own equipment:

• Climbing harness, climbing shoes, helmet
• 120 cm sling or standing sling
• Short Prusik
• Belay device (e.g. Reverso, ATC, Mega or Giga Jul, figure eight descender)
• At least 3 screw-lock carabiners without wire gates (including 1 HMS)
• 6-7 quickdraws
• 1 rope 5 mm in diameter and approx. 5 m long

Single rope (please indicate when registering whether you can bring a rope).
Climbing shoes with good rubber soles, clothing for warm and cold as well as dry and wet conditions, sun protection, possibly gloves and a hat.
Silk sleeping bag, toothbrush, earplugs, small first aid kit with personal medication, bandages and blister plasters, snacks for on the go and a water bottle.
