Solid ski touring experience, even in steep terrain, safe hairpin bends on the ascent, excellent physical condition for ascents of 5-6 hours at 300 vertical meters per hour, fluent and safe skiing in all types of snow. Glacier experience is not essential. Not suitable for snowboarders.

Important: you need a good physical condition. If snow and weather conditions allow, we will make a daily ascent of approx. 1500m.

ONLY TAKE THE SPECIFIED EQUIPMENT WITH YOU. NO ADDITIONAL EQUIPMENT IS REQUIRED! WE CARRY EVERYTHING WITH US.

Rucksack approx. 30l packing volume, snacks and thermos flask, sunglasses, ski/storm goggles, sun cream, lipstick, sun hat, 2 pairs of gloves (1xwarm, 1xthin), hat, windproof, breathable clothing, thermal underwear, warm sweater, avalanche transceiver, shovel, probe.

Touring ski boots, touring skis, ski poles, skins, crampons.

Climbing harness, crampons and ice axe, 2 carabiners, a 120cm sling and a 5m rope as well as a Prusik sling.

Silk sleeping bag, toothbrush, earplugs, headlamp, small first-aid kit with bandages, blister plasters and personal medication.

 A 30-40m rope (if available). Please indicate when registering whether you can take a rope with you. 

Equipment rental: Avalanche transceiver (CHF 8.00/day), shovel (CHF 3.00/day) and probe (CHF 3.00/day) can be rented from University Sports.
