You don't want to wait for the first snowfall and already live your passion on the Saas-Fee glacier in autumn?

Here's our tip: wake up your skis from their summer sleep and warm up in November for the start of the season. With our ski instructors you will experience a balanced program of teaching, coaching and free skiing in the glacier Mecca called Saas-Fee. We are happy to assist you with tips and tricks and get you ready for the ski season.

Individual arrival on Saturday morning, meeting point around 9 a.m. at the accommodation. Overnight stay at the Hotel Les Amis in Saas-Fee in double and 4-bed rooms.

The price includes:

  • overnight accommodation including breakfast and dinner
  • 2 days of lessons with certified snowboard instructors

The following costs are at the expense of the participants:

  • Lunch
  • any material rent
  • lift pass
  • Travel costs by public transport

The detailed programme will be sent by e-mail shortly before the course starts. We reserve the right to cancel the course at short notice if the number of participants is too low.

Prerequisites for attendance To participate in this course, an intermediate Snowboard-Level is required. This means you have to be able to ride medium steep terrain (red slopes) in a smooth and safe manner.

Equipment

University sports does not provide snow sports equipment.

Please come in appropriate and own snowboard clothing/equipment (snowboard with boots and bindings, gloves, sunglasses or ski goggles). University sports does not provide snow sports equipment. Wearing a helmet is compulsory. We recommend wearing a back armor as additional protective equipment as well (if you do not carry a backpack).

Please take your bathing suit with you as well. Depending on the weather and wind, the ski lifts may not open. In this case we will visit the indoor swimming pool.
