Content/program

This course focuses on off-piste snowboarding technique. Anyone who has always wanted to do snowboard tours but has rarely or never experienced off-piste riding will receive inputs on how to ride in unprepaired terrain. The course is aimed in particular at tourers who want to improve their off-piste technique, but also at piste riders who want to take turns off the slopes.

Warning, this is not a freeride course. We always move in the immediate distance of the slopes and to the left and right of the slope edge. We do not use climbing aids such as snowshoes and skins.

The course location depends on the actuall local snow conditions. If the snow conditions are unfavorable for learning to drive off-piste, the course can be canceled.

As a rule, the journey takes place individually and is always coordinated with a public transport connection. Occasionally we travel by minibus.

The price includes lessons with certified snowboard instructors.

The following costs are at the expense of the participants:

  • Lunch
  • lift pass
  • Travel costs by public transport
  • rental of equipment

The detailed programme will be sent by e-mail shortly before the course starts. We reserve the right to cancel the course at short notice if the number of participants is too low.

Prerequisites for attendance The course is not suitable for snowboard beginners and is only designed for intermediate and advanced snowboarders. This means you have to be able to ride medium steep terrain (red slopes) in a smooth and safe manner. Off-piste skills are not required.
