Important information Participation in the dance course is only possible with dance partners who are also eligible to participate at the time of registration. Therefore, please make sure that both you and your dance partner are eligible to participate when the registration window for the desired dance course opens.Dance couples can register as follows:
  • One person registers for the dance course using the online registration form. The matriculation number or the ID number of the dance partner must be entered.
  • After successful registration, the person will receive a provisional confirmation of registration by e-mail. At the same time, the dance partner will receive an email requesting them to complete their registration within the prescribed period.
  • If the dance partner successfully registers within the specified deadline, both persons will receive a definitive confirmation of registration and a request for payment via email.
  • If the registration is not confirmed by the dance partner within the specified period, the right to a place on the course is forfeited. The persons concerned will be informed by e-mail.

If you have any questions or uncertainties, please contact the Unisport secretariat. Participation with a dance partner of the same sex is possible. University Sport does not organise dance partners. Enrolled students and employees of the University and PHBern can purchase a Unisport partner pass for a dance partner who is not studying or working at the University.
Comments In the interest of fairness to the instructors and students, full participation in the course is expected. Thank you for your fair play.

  • Quality of the embrace, interpretation of the music, navigation on the dance floor, More complex figure sequences, variations of turns, ornaments (fioritures)
  • New figure material: barrida, boleo, gancho, etc. Visit to a milonga (tango event)
  • Dance posture: open and closed.
Prerequisites for attendance Mastering the contents of the level 1 course.
