Mountainbike technique course

Participants are responsible for their own travel arrangements. Meet at Swiss Bike Park, Oberried (a 15-minute bike ride from Thörishaus station).

The course fee includes instruction. Travel costs and any bike hire must be paid for individually.

The mountain bike skills course is suitable for beginners and those with a little experience. The Swiss Bike Park in Oberried offers the ideal conditions for learning and refining the following skills:

Balance, safe braking and correct gear changes, choosing the right line on the trail, cornering, and riding over bumps and drops. The course instructors will adapt their teaching to your level and provide support.

Beginners with little MTB experience who want to improve their riding technique on easy terrain

A roadworthy mountain bike (hardtail or full-suspension), helmet

E-bikes and gravel bikes/road bikes are not permitted

Bike hire is available on site: Cost for a hardtail: CHF 10, cost for a full-suspension bike: CHF 50 (at your own expense, payable on site)
