Competitions Students' Games 2026

Multi-day sports event from 17 to 19 April for students. The following 13 sports will be offered: 

- Running (2 Runners, Mixed)
- Basketball 3-3 (3-5 Players, Women/Men)
- Orienteering (2 Runners, Mixed)
- Swimming (11 Competition formats, 3-4 Swimmers, Mixed)
- Climbing (Individual, Women/Men)
- Football 7-7 (Men) resp. 8-8 (Women)
- Pétanque (3 Players, Mixed)
- Table Tennis 1-1 (Individual, Women/Men)
- Volleyball 6-6 (8-10 Players, Women/Men)
- Volleyball FUN 6-6 (8-10 Players, Mixed)
- Beach Volley 2-2 (2-3 Players, Mixed)
- Ultimate Frisbee 6-6 (7-8 Players, Mixed)
- Spikeball/Roundnet 2-2 (2 Players, Mixed)

Please note: Each person may only compete in one sport.

Students at the University of Bern and PHBern 

Registration is done individually for individual sports and via the team captain for team sports.

Registration for individual sports

Step 1 - Register directly with the organiser (www.studentsgames.ch/en/event/registration). 
Step 2 - After registering, fill out the online form for reimbursement of participation fees (including uploading your registration confirmation) and then submit it to University Sports. The online form will open when you click on "Register".   
Step 3 - The registration fee of CHF 25.- will be automatically refunded by University Sports after the Students' Games 2026. 

Registration for team sports 

Step 1 - Put together a team that complies with the rules (www.studentsgames.ch/en/sports). 
Step 2 - Register directly with the organizer (www.studentsgames.ch/en/event/registration).
Step 3 - After registering, fill out the online form for reimbursement of participation fees for each team member (including uploading the registration confirmation) and then submit it to University Sports. The online form will open when you click on "Register". 
Step 4 - The registration fee of CHF 25.- will be automatically refunded by University Sports after the Students' Games 2026.
