Content/program

MBSR (mindfulness-based stress reduction) is a scientifically based mindfulness training program for stress reduction. Studies show that mindfulness can promote concentration, inner peace, stress management and general well-being.

This 8-week course is based on the classic MBSR program and teaches basic mindfulness exercises. In addition, methods are introduced on how mindfulness can be used to deal with inner tension, anxiety and to strengthen resilience.

Course programme - a brief overview

  • The course comprises 8 course units of 2.5 hours each plus a mindfulness day.
  • The mindfulness day takes place on a Saturday and lasts approx. 6 hours. It is an intensive day of practice.
  • On the day of the course, experiences are exchanged, observations are reflected on together and, above all, practised.
  • The three main exercises are the body scan, meditation and yoga. In between, there are short contributions on various topics such as mindfulness in everyday life or stress research.
  • The qualities that the course focuses on and promotes are kindness, compassion, patience and self-care.
