Participation in the dance course is only possible with a dance partner who is also eligible at the time of registration. Therefore, please make sure that both you and your dance partner are eligible when the registration window for the desired dance class opens. Dance couples can register as follows: • One person registers for the dance class using the online registration form. The matriculation number or the ID number of the dance partner must be entered. • After registration, this person will receive a provisional confirmation of registration by e-mail. At the same time, the dance partner will receive an e-mail with the request to complete the registration within a prescribed period. • In case of successful registration by the dance partner within the specified period, both persons will receive a definitive registration confirmation and a request for payment via e-mail. • If the registration is not confirmed by the dance partner within the specified period, you are no longer entitled to a place in the course. The persons concerned will be informed via e-mail. In case of questions or uncertainties, please contact the Unisport office. Participation with a dance partner of the same sex is possible. No dance partners will be organized by the University Sport. Enrolled students, employees of the University and the PHBern can buy a life partner's Unisport pass for a dance partner who does not study or work at the University.

Basic steps, jive, leading and following in couple dancing, extensive repertoire of figures, introduction to jump steps (kicks), role and partner swaps, and various simple partner acrobatic elements. Choreographies are developed together using the steps and elements and then danced together.
