Content/program

You want to learn how to jump a 180, to switch ride or to slide down a railing? In this course our qualified snow sports instructors provide individual inputs for freestyle-newbees to learn the first tricks. Your personal technique and goals will be prioritesed. Of course there will also be room for individuall rides down the slopes.

In addition to the snow, you can also visit the freestyle hall in Laax and learn some moves at your own level on the skateboard and trampoline.

Arrival is individual on Friday evening and is always coordinated with a public transport connection.
We spend the night in the youth hostel in Laax.


The price includes:
  • 2 overnights accommodation incl. breakfast
  • 1 dinner (saturday)
  • 2 days of lessons with certified ski instructors

The following costs are at the expense of the participants:

  • Lunch
  • rental of equipment
  • lift pass
  • travel costs by public transport
  • Freestyle hall entry fee

The detailed programme will be sent by e-mail shortly before the course starts. We reserve the right to cancel the course at short notice if the number of participants is too low.

Prerequisites for attendance
This course is aimed at freestyle enthusiasts with a lot, little or no previous knowledge.

Ski/snowboard
The course requires fluent skiing on medium-difficulty slopes (red). Parallel skiing must be mastered on skis of this difficulty.

Skateboard:
No previous knowledge necessary

Trampoline:
No previous experience required

Equipment

Ski/Snowboard

Please arrive in your own appropriate ski clothing/equipment (skis/snowboard, ski/snowboard boots, gloves and sunglasses or ski goggles). The use of twin-tip skis or a snowboard for freestylers is an advantage and highly recommended. University Sports does not provide its own snow sports equipment.

Wearing a helmet is mandatory. We recommend a back armor as additional protective equipment.


Skateboard

Sneakers, skateboard and helmet. Wearing a helmet (e.g. bicycle helmet) is compulsory. We recommend knee, elbow and wrist protectors as additional protective equipment, but these are not mandatory.

Trampoline

Sportswear and, if possible, non-slip socks.
