Content/program | Demanding high-altitude ski tours. |
Prerequisites for attendance | Solid ski touring experience from at least two weeks of touring. Safe hairpin bends on the ascent, very good physical condition for ascents of 5 hours at 400-450 metres in altitude per hour, fluent and safe skiing in all types of snow and on steep terrain. On the 2nd day there is an ascent of around 1700 metres. Experience with crampons. Not suitable for splitboarders. Autonomous rope teams are formed and they are on their own responsibility under the guidance of the mountain guide. Experience in rope handling is therefore a prerequisite. |

Equipment | The material is the responsibility of the participants. ONLY TAKE THE SPECIFIED EQUIPMENT WITH YOU. NO ADDITIONAL EQUIPMENT IS REQUIRED! WE CARRY EVERYTHING WITH US. Rucksack approx. 30l packing volume, snacks and thermos flask (max. 1 litre), sunglasses and ski goggles with bright (orange) lenses, sun cream, lip protection, sun hat, gloves, hat, windproof, breathable clothing, sports underwear, light down jacket or similar, headlamp, silk sleeping bag, toothbrush, earplugs, small first-aid kit with personal medication, blister plasters. LVS (3 antenna device!), shovel, probe, touring ski boots, touring skis, ski poles, skins, crampons, helmet recommended, climbing harness with 1 screw carabiner and long sling (120 cm), (light) crampons and ice axe. Avalanche transceiver (CHF 8.00/day), shovel (CHF 3.00/day) and probe (CHF 3.00/day) can be hired from the University Sports. |
