| Content/program | Unique sea kayaking in the lagoon city of Venice: Friday: Travel by Unisport bus, pitch tents and short paddle in the lagoon. Saturday: Exploratory sea kayaking trip through the canals of Venice. Sunday: Participation in the Vogalonga (approx. 6 hours of paddling) Monday: Paddling trip, followed by return journey by bus. Overnight stay at a campsite. We will cook some of our meals ourselves or go to a restaurant. |
| Prerequisites for attendance | Extensive sea kayaking experience and good physical condition are required. Multiple training sessions and longer trips are required. The paddling time for the Vogalonga is at least 7 hours. |

| Equipment | Lunch for Friday afternoon (on the outward journey) • Sun protection: sun cream; headgear, possibly with ear protection, sunglasses with strap, functional T-shirts (short/long) • Canoeing clothing appropriate for the weather forecast. Sturdy shoes for the boat (no flip-flops) • Water bottle (can be taken on the kayak) • Tent, sleeping mat, sleeping bag (tents can be shared) • Personal items, general clothing according to the short-term weather forecast • Possibly a waterproof bag for mobile phones Kitchen equipment will be organised by Unisport Sea kayaks, life jackets, spray skirts, paddles and paddle jackets will be provided by Unisport. |
